How the Ithaca Sofa Set Is Built

The Three-Seat Sofa, Layer by Layer

The three-seat sofa dresses warm beige fabric in a ton-sur-ton baroque damask jacquard, and the pattern carries onto the seat cushions; a pleated cream panel softens the back. The case below mixes broken-white lacquer, honey-brown grain-figured veneer and slim brass inlay strips. Under the base, a brass skirt frame ends in clear crystal knobs. The inner armrests carry framed panels in a shimmering moiré-look weave.

Two Bergères with Different Postures

One bergère rises tall, a high oval back of curved broken-white pleating, its shell sliced with grain-figured veneer and brass rods, its front frame finished with crystal knobs. The other sits lower and wraps around you: pleated cream weave inside, honey-gloss lacquer shell outside, a gold rosette at the crown, a crystal-knobbed base. Two postures, one pair.

The Coffee Table and Side Table

The rectangular coffee table carries bronze-frosted glass bands and a central medallion in its embossed honey-brown lacquered top, set in a thick broken-white frame. Brass corner clips pinch the edges. The round side table stands on a fluted column base with brass trim, happy beside the sofa or beside a bergère, wherever a cup needs to land.

A Curved TV Cabinet with Four Doors

The curved TV cabinet rolls four diamond-embossed honey veneer doors behind a broken-white top, with a pleated band of brass rods, crystal knobs and an arched mirror-grain back panel. Closed doors hide the clutter.
