The Cortona Sofa Set, Piece by Piece

Gold Spheres on Smoked-Lacquer Arms

At each arm end, a triangular panel in dark smoked lacquer rises above the line of the sofa and carries a small gold sphere on top. The small gold sphere remains visible at each arm end.

Calm Ecru Velvet, Straight Lines

Both sofas keep straight lines with softly rounded corners, upholstered in ecru off-white velvet-look fabric. Underneath, slim dark conical wooden legs. Mustard velvet, black velvet and geometric-patterned pillows lay a warm, graphic contrast across all that calm.

An Armchair Framed in Black Metal

A black tubular metal frame loops around the outside of the seat and wraps the cream ecru fabric body, with hammered gold-tone caps at the joints. From the side it reads architectural.

One Gold Detail Language

The gold sphere finials on the sofa arms and the hammered gold joint caps on the armchair repeat the same metallic note. Place the pieces apart and they still read as one family.
