The Kensington Sofa Set, Piece by Piece

A Channel-Stitched Back with a Notched Crown

A vertical channel-stitched band runs along the top of the back, and behind it sits a notched, top-hat-style protrusion. From the front, the sofa is crisp and low. From behind, there’s a small sculpted skyline, which helps if the sofa stands off the wall.

A Thin Lacquer Band Around Soft Fabric

A thin glossy black lacquer band wraps the outer edges of the low, wide arms. Soft fabric inside, a polished line outside. That contrast is what makes the silhouette read as deliberate rather than just large.

Two Colorways, Same Silhouette

Pick mid-grey in a textured, linen-like weave, or deep black with a soft velvet look. Both sit on slim tapered black legs, so the frame reads the same either way.

Pillows Already in Place

The sofas arrive layered with pillows: a checkered copper-red weave, a long striped lumbar and plain black and grey accents. The armchair carries one accent pillow of its own. Rearrange things later if you like; there’s still a finished look to fall back on.
