The Kalymnos Sofa Set, Piece by Piece

Two Sofas in Channel Tufting and Damask

The three-seat sofa and its matching two-seat companion pair channel-tufted inside backs in grey-beige with baroque damask jacquard seat cushions in silver-beige. A vintage-gold lacquered wooden frame runs around both, rising into rococo carvings at the top corners. The armrest outsides get their own treatment: honey-bronze hexagonal panels with a fish-scale texture and raised stitching. The pillows come styled: four to five accent pillows, a mix of triangular geometrics, dark-brown stripes, fringed crocodile textures and fish-scale weaves.

Two High-Back Bergères in White and Gold

Two high-back bergères curve above fish-scale diamond tufting, white lacquer frames edged in gold carved accents. Patterned seat cushions tie them to the sofas. Set at an angle, they frame the seating group like a carved picture frame.

Carved Tables in Bronze-Beige and Gold

The rectangular coffee table has a veined bronze-beige lacquered surface over a soap-foam lacquered body. An uninterrupted gold baroque frieze wraps the apron and carries down into scrolled carved feet. The square side table repeats the carved apron band on four carved legs. Two tables, one family.

The Mirror-Centred TV Wall

Below sits a four-door cabinet, diamond-embossed panels with spiral crystal handles. Above, a giant back panel sets a central mirror between bronze-glass winged blocks, flanked by columns of hanging glass rectangles and crowned with a gold carved cornice strip. The framed wall treatment surrounds the screen area.
