An Oval Glass Top on a Carved Pedestal

The oval glass top sits over a very thick, gold carved band frieze, so the carving stays in full view from every seat at the table. Below, a wide pedestal block mixes deep cherry-red panels with a cream damask-pattern centre, rings itself with gold medallions and finishes in a hanging carved apron on gold finial feet. Nothing is hidden here. The glass shows the work from all sides.

Quilted and Button-Tufted Baroque Chairs

The armed chairs carry diamond-pattern cream-and-gold backrests, quilted inside continuous gold carving. The armless chairs button-tuft their damask panels instead. Curved, near-cabriole front legs take the gold gilding all the way down to the floor. Line the six seats up and they read as one baroque family. That consistency counts once everyone is seated around the table.

A Corner Cabinet with a Carved Crest

The corner display cabinet bows outward on two faces behind curved glazed doors, stands on a deep cherry-red base section and finishes under a grand, sculpture-like carved crest. Segmented mirror strips run along its side faces. Beside the table, the buffet lays a cream gloss top with a cherry-red contour and floral detailing over gold carved medallion doors, segmented gold mirror strips and small carved finial feet.

Three Mirrors on One Wall

One large arched, crested mirror sits at the centre with a smaller trapezoid-form mirror on either side, all in heavily gold carved frames. The three mirrors form a coordinated wall arrangement. The wall gets a finish to match the furniture.
