Thassos Sofa Set ^{En solde}

The Thassos Sofa Set, Piece by Piece

A Sofa Built on Drum-Slice Blocks

The arms stack horizontal drum-slice blocks over deep, softly filled cushions, so the frame reads crisp from the side while the seat itself gives under you. Deep carved floral relief covers the front panels. Photos show the seating in a striped taupe-grey velvet-linen weave, and in a smooth cream version too, with honeycomb-textured side panels, polished copper-bronze bands along the front rails and a round gold medallion. Gold meander-form metal feet carry the whole set. They hold each piece just off the floor, which keeps the look light and leaves the floor visible underneath.

Two Armchairs in a Lacquered Goblet Shell

Each of the two armchairs takes a goblet form: a shell in metallic taupe gloss lacquer that cups your back and seat, topped by a carved floral frieze along its upper band. Brown textured fabric panels and a throw pillow soften the parts you actually touch. The wide ring base keeps each chair planted. Each chair stands on a wide ring base.

A Table Group in Four Materials

The rectangular coffee table layers four materials: cream lacquer, a black-copper mirror inset, deep silver-grey carved relief on its body blocks and woven-copper side panels. Under the top sits an open lower shelf, handy for remotes and magazines. The companion table repeats the same design language and nests beside it when you need the floor space back. The square side table closes the group with a navy-black mirror center inside a carved cream frame, set on a truncated-pyramid body. Lacquer, mirror, carving, metal weave.
